HTTP Error 503.2 – Service Unavailable

The problem:

When setting up a Sitecore instance for a Content Delivery server I faced the following error:

HTTP Error 503.2 – Service Unavailable – The serverRuntime@appConcurrentRequestLimit setting is being exceeded.

The solution:

The content items aren’t published to the Web database.

I’ve found a few solutions to this issue and none worked for me. If this is your case, this solution might be useful for you.

I figured out that not all content items were published to the Web database. Double-check it switching to the Web database using the desktop mode. Then open the content tree items and review all your items checking if all are there.

So, my recommendation is to switch back to the Master database and republish all content tree.
